Typhoon Pakhar is making itself known in Saigon. It’s been raining all day but around 4pm it really started to get bad. Our work flooded, the staff room was leaking and classrooms were swimming in water. Pretty stupid of them to build a bulding that leaks so badly in a country that has a wet season half the year!

Now trees are blowing down, houses are flooding, roads are blocked and the electricity is cutting out. It’s exciting and dangerous. I have never seen rain nor wind like it!

My current home is somewhere under that. Annoyingly my friend is supposed to arrive tonight for a week long visit but flights are grounded and she won’t arrive until at least tomorrow!
